At about 3:30 Am last evening I wrapped up the first big milestone for The Unknowns. I finished the first 28 pages, which is my official pitch to publishers and also serves as the openning act of the book.
These last 5 weeks of coloring and drawing pages has been the most intense thing ever, and I made a Inktober story as well! I alsmot don’t know what to do with myself. the work is by no means done, but I feel like I can catch my breathe a moment, relax and take a more measured pace to my work for a week. Play some Uncharted 3, sleep and read.
It’s exciting having completed this pitch and knowing it’s future is in motion. It’s also hard because I know from here it’s out of my control. It has to find an audience, be it publisher or readership. And you can never gage how that is going to work. But I am extremely proud of it. It’s the hardest I’ve ever worked on something. The feedback I’ve gotten has been really positive. I just want to finish the whole thing so everyone can read it. So here’s a page from the first act. I hope you like it.
Looks awesome. Hope it goes well!
Thanks, Kev! 🙂
